New strategies update pt2

My first day was successful with a few small-dollar gains on Wendy’s stock - a name I think will likely pull back over the next few days and then, in contrast, be a compelling long term buy.

My second day was less so. There were some real-dollar trades on CLSK and AVAV, which I basically lost or gained few dollars each on. There were also a few paper trades, which were also less than successful - so we’re talking <1.5% either way here.

Here’s what I learned:

*Unfortunately it’s just too late to be entering a trade at 945 AM - in many cases the gains have mostly been made by 10AM and the traders are taking their balls and going home.

*I need to pay more attention to escalating green volume bars to select promising stocks. I probably also need to toggle on premarket to see what patterns suggest a market-hours gap up will sustain.

*I need to practice entries after pullback+new green

More to come! This is a two week experiment.
